Associação Desportiva Ferroviária Vale do Rio Doce, usually known as Desportiva Ferroviária, or simply as Desportiva (or as Desportiva-ES), is a conventional Brazilian soccer club from Cariacica, Espírito Santo state.
On July 7, 1963, the club used to be founded as Associação Desportiva Ferroviária Vale do Rio Doce, after Vale do Rio Doce, Ferroviário-ES, Cauê, Guarany-ES, Valeriodoce-ES and Cruzeiro-ES fused. These clubs have been shaped by means of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce railway staff. Companhia Vale do Rio Doce encouraged the clubs’ fusion. In 1964, the membership received its first skilled title, the Campeonato Capixaba. In 1974, Desportiva competed in the Série A for the primary time. The membership completed in the thirty fourth position.
In 1980, the membership competed once more within the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, finishing in the 15th location. That was the club’s all-time best marketing campaign in the competitors.
In 1993, Desportiva competed in the Série A for the ultimate time. The membership completed in the 29th position.On April 19, 1999, the club become an individual firm, and changed its title to Desportiva Capixaba. The senior accomplice was once Frannel Distribuidora de Combustível, later changed by means of Grupo Villa-strong point due to Frannel’s bankruptcy.In 2000, Desportiva Capixaba received its closing title, the Campeonato Capixaba. in the last, the membership beat Serra within the last.In November 2010, former soccer player Robson Santana was once elected by membership participants as president and a new route used to be based within the club.On April 8, 2011, the membership was renamed back to Associação Desportiva Ferroviária Vale do Rio Doce.Download
